The War on Terror
When Al-Qaeda attacked the U.S. on September 11th, 2001, America was hurt and went to seek revenge and put an end to this terrorist group. In order for this plan to work, President George W. Bush issued soldiers to go to Afghanistan and Iraq to seek out terrorist groups and put an end to this nonsense (uo
pg.1). Many lives have been lost in this war and it is still going on to this day. Al Qaeda has impacted the world in many ways and the war on terror has caused families and friends lots of pain. Even though the war has been going on for 11 years and counting we have been unsuccessful to shut down all the Al-Qaeda training facilities. The U.S. has joined forces with the UK and other countries to help put a rest to this problem (uo pg.1). Asia is on the U.S. side and is allowing air transit and goods to help solve this problem (uo pg.1).
